Progressing Bursary Declaration Form

If you are a progressing student who is continuing their studies in the next academic year (25/26) and have received financial support from the bursary during the previous academic year (24/25), you are no longer required to complete a new, full bursary application.

All you need to do is complete this application form and sign the self-declaration confirming that your household circumstances have not changed from your application last year. We do not need evidence of income at this stage but you may, in the coming financial year, be asked to evidence your declaration which would include any benefits or other household income. We will confirm your bursary by email, once the application has been processed.

Declaration

Please read the statements below and sign to confirm you have read and understand them:

• I confirm that my household financial circumstances have not changed since my funding application for 24/25. Proving false and/or incomplete evidence may result in the bursary being withdrawn.
• If I withdraw from my course, I understand that I may be required to pay back some or all of the money awarded and any fees outstanding to the College
• If my application for financial assistance is unsuccessful or successful in part, I will be liable for all outstanding fees related to my course and it is my responsibility to pay these fees.
• The college has the right to withdrawn funding at any time, with good cause.
• Allocation of funding is dependent on student’s behaviour, attendance and punctuality. Failure to meet these conditions could result in funding being withdrawn.
• If I/my family are in receipt of Government benefits, any direct payment from the Learner Support Fund may affect the amount I receive, and it is my duty to disclose the amount of funding I receive to the Benefits Agency.
• I am aware the College will record and hold securely any information of a personal or sensitive nature.
• In the event of the completion of a course or withdrawal any resources purchased via the Bursary should be returned to the College.
